Auditing Solutions Ltd is headed by Stuart Pollard, whose experience covers the external audit of Local Government and National Health Service bodies, as well as a three year secondment to the Hong Kong Government. Stuart is supported by a team of experienced Consultant Auditors, with over 100 years of combined audit & business management experience between them.
The company was formed in response to the revised audit requirements in 2001, initially as a subsidiary of another company providing accountancy services to a number of councils. In order to ensure full independence, Stuart bought out his former co-directors and now owns the company in Partnership with his wife, Anne.
Auditing Solutions Ltd provides councils and various other related bodies such as charitable trusts with a range of services in addition to internal audit and independent examination, including accounting, risk management advice and guidance, consultancy and year-end Accounting Statement production.

Initially a programmer with the Atomic Energy Authority, joining the Civil Service led to the chance to train as an auditor for the Ministry of Health where he spent six years as an external auditor of the NHS across the South and South West of England.

A three year appointment as the Chief Internal Auditor for the Urban Council and Urban Services Department of the Hong Kong Government preceded a return to external audit of the NHS as a Team Manager. Promotion to Audit Manager with responsibility for NHS and Local Government District Council Audits followed, with responsibility for the external audit of Town and Parish Councils. Stuart set up Auditing Solutions Ltd in 2001.
Anne was born in Trowbridge, Wiltshire and has lived in various parts of the county including Hampshire, Lincolnshire and Warwickshire, but now lives with her husband, Stuart, in a Wiltshire village near Melksham.

Christopher is a CIPFA Accountant having trained in local government. He subsequently worked for the Audit Commission as an audit manager for 23 years during which time he was responsible for managing the audits of all tiers of local government including parish and town councils.

Christopher is a CIPFA Accountant having trained in local government. He subsequently worked for the Audit Commission as an audit manager for 23 years during which time he was responsible for managing the audits of all tiers of local government including parish and town councils.
Specifically this involved work to provide the year end accounts opinion, systems audits and value for money reviews. Christopher also conducted reviews of risk management systems.
In 2012 he transferred to Grant Thornton where he worked on the audit of top tier councils and NHS bodies. On leaving Grant Thornton Christopher joined Auditing Solutions as a Consultant Auditor.
Sally has worked in Public Sector Finance for over 30 years, both in Audit and Financial &Management Accounting roles.
Sally has worked in Education, Not for Profit organisations and has spent eighteen years working within the National Health Service.
Lately Sally has held the role of Responsible Finance Officer for a Parish Council in the Milton Keynes area.
Susan began her career working in banking, and has worked in Public Sector Finance for almost 25 years, firstly as a School Business Manager and most recently as a CiLCA qualified Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer for a parish council in Berkshire.
Susan has acted as treasurer for various clubs, PTA's as well as a local diabetes UK group.
Chris was born in London. His Public Sector career in Local Government spans Accountancy and Audit roles in Cornwall, the New Forest and Berkshire at both District and County Council level, culminating in the position of Corporate Audit Manager of an in-house team and an externalised contractor, with a total of 20 staff.

Chris then moved to the Government sector, being responsible for monitoring and advising on Corporate Governance, Risk Management, and Project Management for business-critical construction projects for a multi-functional Scientific Facility, reporting to Senior Management and Board.
Following early retirement, Chris has been Clerk to his local Parish Council, establishing the Council's audit regime, proper governance, financial control, and sound risk management, as well as full compliance with the Transparency Code.
